Iceland’s Main Glaciers

A Brief Summary of Iceland’s main Glaciers.

Iceland has multiple glaciers and some of them have become very famous. Glaciers have formed on our island over an extended period of time and are receding heavily.

Gullfoss Falls or “the Golden Falls” are arguably considered the king of Iceland’s waterfalls. Standing at 32 meters high and with an average water flow of 110 cubic meters per second, it is indeed worthy of that title.

The Land of Fire and Ice has become a tourism attraction in the past couple of years. For good reason, Iceland is an incredible country with features that you won‘t find anywhere else in the world.
